Delete Your OléGol Account
You can delete your OléGol account at any time. This page explains how to do it, what gets deleted, and what we are legally required to keep.
This page exists to comply with Apple App Store and Google Play account-deletion requirements for apps that support account creation. OléGol provides deletion directly inside the App; the steps below explain how.
1. Before You Delete: Cancel Your Subscription First
If you have an active OléGol subscription on the Apple App Store or Google Play, cancel it first. Deleting your OléGol account does NOT cancel a store subscription — Apple and Google bill your store account separately from our system.
To cancel your subscription on iOS:
1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad 2. Tap your name at the top 3. Tap Subscriptions 4. Find OléGol in the list and tap it 5. Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm
To cancel your subscription on Android:
1. Open the Google Play Store app 2. Tap your profile icon 3. Tap Payments & subscriptions 4. Tap Subscriptions 5. Find OléGol, tap it, then tap Cancel subscription and confirm
You can still use the subscriber benefits until the end of the current billing period.
2. Delete Your Account Inside the App
Account deletion is built into the App. From inside OléGol:
1. Open OléGol on your iPhone or iPad 2. Tap the Me tab in the bottom navigation 3. Tap Settings 4. Scroll down and tap Delete account 5. Read the confirmation dialog carefully and tap Confirm to permanently delete your account
Your account will be deleted immediately upon confirmation. There is no recovery — once deleted, your account, profile, generated works, uploaded media, face-containing uploaded media, and Credit balance are gone.
3. Delete Your Account by Email
If you cannot access the App (for example you have already uninstalled it), email liuchunxu@miaoboai.com from the email address associated with your OléGol account with the subject line:
> `Delete my OléGol account`
Include in the body:
- The Apple ID email or Google email you used to sign in (if any)
- The approximate date you created the account
- Any other information that can help us verify your identity (for example a recent transaction ID from your App Store purchase history)
We will respond within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days of receiving a verified request. We may ask you for additional information to confirm you own the account before we delete it.
4. What Gets Deleted Immediately
When you delete your account, the following data is deleted or irreversibly anonymized in our systems:
- Your profile (display name, avatar)
- Email and provider identifier (Apple Sign In identifier or Google identifier)
- Authentication sessions and tokens
- Uploaded media (photos, images), including uploaded media that contains face data or facial information
- Generated videos (your "Works")
- Conversation history, drafts, and templates you saved
- In-app Credit balance (unused Credits are forfeited)
- Push notification token (you will stop receiving notifications)
- Registered devices
Some data, such as media stored on third-party CDN caches, may take up to 30 additional days to fully purge after deletion is initiated. We will not use that data for any other purpose during that interval. OléGol does not create or retain standalone face-recognition templates, faceprints, biometric identifiers, Face ID data, TrueDepth data, ARKit face geometry, face meshes, or depth maps.
5. What We Are Required to Keep
We are required by law and by App Store policies to retain certain records even after you delete your account. These records are anonymized so they no longer point to you, but the financial and audit content itself must be preserved:

After deletion, the financial records above are migrated to a deterministic anonymized financial-record user that does not point back to your original account.
6. What Deleting Your Account Does NOT Do
- It does not cancel an active Apple or Google Play subscription (see Section 1)
- It does not delete data already held by Apple, Google, or other third parties under their own privacy policies
- It does not request a refund of any past App Store or Google Play purchase. For Apple refunds use https://reportaproblem.apple.com; for Google Play refunds use https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637
- It does not remove your account from any external service you signed in to using OléGol's authentication (you would need to revoke those separately)
7. How to Stop OléGol from Reaching You
If you only want to stop OléGol from contacting you (without deleting your account), you can:
- Stop push notifications — iOS Settings → Notifications → OléGol → toggle off Allow Notifications
- Stop tracking / attribution — iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → toggle off OléGol (this denies the App Tracking Transparency permission and stops ATT-based AppsFlyer attribution on iOS)
- Unsubscribe from emails — reply to any email from us asking to be unsubscribed, or write to liuchunxu@miaoboai.com
These steps do not delete your account; they only stop future communications.
